Second post from my world describing the unusual misadventures of aliens sent by posthuman gods on seeded planet. This time it's their first sapient.

Torch Harpy, sometimes called Arharpy is a primitive, but sapient species native to my seeded world. Harpy family is pretty widespread among the globe, but they are in slow decline in modern times. Harpies are among the most primitive postmammals and according to genetics, they're distantly related to animals like Razorback. Harpies have only 2 fingers on wings, and they use their hindlimbs to grab and manipulate objects. They grow up to meter in height and have 2-2,5 meter wingspan. Harpies live a quick life, and they are considered as really old after 30 years. Torch Harpies live in weird borderless societies, simliar to human hunters-gatherers. They build mud house-like nests up in dense forests of eastern supercontinent. Harpies have a common language with few variations, made from chirping sounds.
