Description Some sneak peek spec from upcoming fernworld 2

Dryads are humanoid, herbivorous clade of fernian mammaloids. Despite relatively large skulls and well-developed brains, dryads aren't intelligent, and they represent same level of intelligence as cows or goats. Dryads live mostly in forests and mountainous areas, where they feed on leaves, ferns or berries. Most of dryad species own keratinous horns that often grow into crazy shapes, but weight less than they look. Dryads are descendants of sphenacodontid pelycosaurs (as crazy as it seems), but they undergone so many changes past last 300 million years that they are unrecognizable from their ancestors. Drayds evolved unique hands - their 'thumb' is equipped with large claw used for self defense from predators and in mating fights, while their other 4 fingers evolved in similar manner to chameleon hand, allowing them to grasp branches or pick berries.
