Description Goblin created from polymer clay and Apoxie Sculpt. Hand made chain maille along with Apoxie Sculpt armor. I think he's cute personally, but I'm strange like that.

Thanks! Sometimes I have more fun making the weapons than I do making the sculpts themselves!

I always love goblins. ^_^ Is he wearing glasses or is the metal bar over his nose something else?

Actually this is a crappy shot because it makes him look like he has a pair of pince nez glasses, but it is actually a ring through the bridge of his nose. Although a goblin with a pair of pince nez would be a nice dichotomy.....hmmmmmm

haha, this is cute. i like the spikes on the feet, and the pads on the shins, as if the pads were put on after a few mishaps with stepping too high. the way he's holding the weapon is so casual it's almost comical. great work.

hmm. i've been tempted to make chainmail for a doll before. while it's not art sculpture by any means, it doesn't seem so odd anymore...

let's see. he's awesome. yes, he is cute, i love the look on his face. and how the hell did you get him to balance like that?! he looks ready to step off the base.

Thanks for the comments. He is actually pinned to the base by a brass rod that slips into a brass tube in the bottom of his foot, and in the base. He can be removed from the base for shipping, but can be held upright in a way that you couldn't do otherwise. It can give you a bit more freedom to use positions that wouldn't otherwise be possible.
