This is cool. I always see photos of flowers, but rarely do you ever see ones of buds. I think it's cool that someone took a picture of it before it becomes a flower. It's truly unique and it's cool that beauty can be seen in something that most people don't really think about. I kind of get excited when i see buds. Some buds I find beautiful.
I really like your use of the rule of thirds in this one. It has great composition. I like how the lighting looks like a sunrise, almost in conjunction with the flower about to bloom. Really neat piece.
