Like 10 years, stored in a damp and dreary basement.

wow, that is old... got some negative and slide films from 2002 and 2003, not sure how great an impact that'd have...

I haven't noticed much of a problem with film.. even very old film, in general. I even shot some 35 year old Kodachrome a few months ago and it still looked just like it is supposed to!

Yes, thoroughly accident except for the framing and format. I am often ambivalent about the 'accidental' stuff I see here and that I do myself. I love it and think it's cheating. But then photography is often filled with surprises, the things you saw but didn't 'see' when you snapped the shot, the accidents of light and shape or facial expression. I love those things so much about photography.

The colors came out so amazingly clear and 'wrong' but oh so right.

It's in Northern Michigan, Chris. And it is peaceful. This bar and farmland belongs to a cousin. Her Mother was born and died in the farm house 89 or so years later. Now it is used as a summer place.

Hmm Northern Michigan is not too far from here. I will have to check it out at some point.

Michigan is an undervalued state so far. It is gorgeous and is surround by huge bodies of water...lovely farmland and huge forests. Mostly people think of Detroit when they think of Michigan.. what a mistake!

Indeed. I miss Aunt Clyda. She died this past year and the place is lonesome now.
