Wow. The DD should given to this. Both the idea of using the leaves and the fibonnaci sequence are amazing
PS: I'm a mathematician

Very reminiscent of the Fibonacci sequence and the Golden Mean.

I LOVE this series! This particular one is definitely my favorite. It almost looks like the golden rectangle. Very, very unique idea!

I like the geometric autumn series.
Am I assuming right that you're taking actual leaves and cutting them into geometrical forms.
That's a great idea. The constant interplay between the abstract/geometrical and the natural/organic is a visual treat.

Yup, and thanks, from all these comments of yours I'm seeing a very abstract streek in me... and I have more to come in the vein soon.

Good play on words.
I'm surprised you don't already see that.
It's something I've been aware of all my life.
In fact, as I've said before, I've found "abstractness in some of the most interesting places, like on the tops of microscope slides.

Oh yes I'm quite aware I have it, you just concentrated a little more

Good.
No criticism.
I said that only because I've met artists over the years who don't really seem to be aware of what they're doing.
Probably because they're not approaching it from that perspective.
On the other hand, there have been times when people have seen things in my work that I wasn't aware of or didn't intend.
That used to bother me.
But now I accept it.
It's best of course when people see (and like) a piece for the same reason the artist does.
