Tree picture terribly abundant around dA, but I like this one a lot. The tree may be rejected, but I'd say it's more beautiful than the other, plain green ones.

The tree is gorgeous and it is really set off by its surroundings. Nice capture, it just looks so tangible, like I could just walk into the picture.

I love the contrasting colours.
Its very well done, the fact the colours reject the tree. The fact it stands alone in the open field, amongst the green. The fact that by and large a tree is also supposed to be green. The mountains in the distance suggest that they wish to stay away from it. In fact symbolisim is practical everywhere, adding to the feeling of, well *forced* lonelyness (trust me its different from just plain and simple old lonelyness).
The one thing I will say is that the sky looks a small bit out of place, but really

Hmmm...well your initial message is about being outcast, but I must say that my immediate feeling and interpretation was "standing out". Beautiful color and great use of complimentary color to create the effect and to help with your message. I love how the tree is over center - nice composition.
