And here is my picture for the Nentendo64 tribute Project by !I was allowed to draw a Fan Art of Yoshi's Story!
I tried to draw it like the storybookscenes in the game.
I used two referencpictures:
the first one:

I wanted all Yoshis together with Poochy and the white Shy Guy.
and I wanted to try out the paperbook look. It was very difficult for me to let the trees, flower, mountains and the grass look like paper and the yoshis only a bit. I hope you like it.

Den geblen habe ich absichtlich an den weißen Shy Guy gehängt. Wir hatten da mal drüber gesprochen, wie wir uns als Shy Guys oder Yoshis oder eben gemischt, zeichnen würden. Das blieb mir davon hängen. *w*
Jaaa, das sah in dem Spiel immer so süß aus, wenn er mit dem Schirm fliegt.

Ich finde die Idee mit dem Buch klasse. Es sieht so aus als ob die Figuren und Gegenstände aus dem Buch rausspringen und ihre eigene Geschichte erzählen wollen.

It was hard to let it looks like a pop up book. At first it looked so flat but not paperlike. I'm glad it is visible.
