This is epic! I think you should get back to this someday and add more detail to the background characters. It works as it is now but it would look professional if you gave the other characters some love!

It's a good idea ^^
When I thought this up, i've imagined the other characters more or less 'blended' with the background, but maybe it was too much..
I'm very lazy when it comes to drawing more than 1 character =[
But I must leave it aside considering this is a D&D party...

And many thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate!

Yeah, I think it's a good idea to blend them out. They shouldn't be to defined and take up to much focus. Just something right in between will do the trick!
Maybe draw something half detailed up and then blur it out with some setting/layer? The poses they have look good tho.

I'm lazy too, and often focus on some details way to long and then I get bored with what I'm doing.
No problem!

Yeah, I was thinking something middle-term

Me too, WAY too much time on details ><

The important thing is to keep going /o/

Exactly. Better focus comes after a while! We just have to keep on practicing (and your details looks amazing, so it's worth it in many ways).
I've noticed that it goes way better when I doodle something out first and try to get composition right. Always fun when a 5 minute doodle looks better than a 30 minute one.

Ah, the planning helps a lot, getting the scene together and all that..
When I try to do something out of 'nothing', no sketch, no nothing, it hardly comes out very well... I didn't learn this lesson apparently hauehuaehua

Someday I want to learn those kind of composition using other images along the painting. Like the Jonas De Ro pieces.. Don't know if you know him.. I like his works very much
Thanks again for the details thing ^^
