Yes... I never got powerful enough to venture into them in that game. Seeing them looming out of the mist always gave me a thrill of fear.... don't go therrrrrre!! I had to skulk and swim around them...

IMHO Morrowind has the best design and atmosphere of any RPG game, ever. Though some aspects are a bit boring - repetetive walking and monsters. I used to have it packed full of extra stuff to make it look even cooler. Better graphics, cities, clothes, physique. I had the same for Oblivion too, which has better graphics than Morrowind... but not the atmosphere. I'd still recommend Morrowind now, 8 years after it came out or whatever. It's a wonderful world to immerse oneself in. I don't have time to play games any more myself though.
