in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, some of the units are named after famous Sith. One of those is Naga Sadow, the Sith Lord responsible for parts of the Great Hyperspace War in the Expanded universe. This was done for advertisement and hype generation for the unit in preparation for a large competition series.
