This is frickin' INSANE!!!!and I'm 1 hour and 48 minutes overdue, but I'm sure it'll still get added to the pot for...
's super huge ART CHALLENGE!!!
I started this when the contest was announced a month ago (I even typed up ideas and a script!), but you know, there isn't always time for art. So these past two days I've been painting, drawing, scanning, and formating like crazzzay. And now its a giant pile of poo. Ok its not that bad, just too busy to really hard to follow I think. I've never done an art file that ended so BIG (1000 pix wide!), and that was after making the heading pictures ( the top 3) so much smaller then I intended- those were the biggest challenge for me, and are digitally colored.
The top three header images are supposted to be the best/prettiest, and although I'm not sure mine are, I used the medium that is the most challenging for me- graphics tablet and photoshop for coloring.
Column 1 is in colored pencils,
Column 2 is in Prismacolor markers
Column 3 is Watercolors,
all outlined in my happy black ink pen.

oh and becuase its so big, you'll have to download it to see it in all its glory, and to be able to read the words...other wise they may be a wee bit too small. :/

Ha, I know, its so messed up. Β I haven't even thought about this stuff in years! In x-Men:Evolution the cartoon, Kurt dates Amanda. In the comic book world, he also does this to discover it was his childhood sister in disguise. "sister" from his adopted gypsy family in Germany, not blood-sister (which I don't think he has.) I believe he's the only child of Mystique and Azezel (sp?), though I know that both parents had children with others. If someone could produce a Mystique/Nightcrawler etc family tree I would love to see it!Β

This was part of a contest/challenge, so the first column on the left, it had to be Nightcrawler inserted in different fandoms. At the time I was also obsessed with Heroes which was at its peek. I'm so detached now from x-men and Nighcrawler news that I didn't know about a creature that wanted to steel his powers! Very cool! Β I'll have to look that one up!Β

I only like fan-fiction if it's in-character and well-done...and sometimes you find really good ideas that you wish were in the show, or movie, or whatever. But I'm glad to hear you share my views on the slash thing.

This is fantastic! You did a lot of work, it really shows. I also like how you used a lot of different mediums- it shows us how flexible you are, and it can help you to see what you are best at, and what to practice on. I really love your digital style, by the way

Ooh I love all of the subtle comic references you put into this piece! And the panel about Toad...I totally agree. Toad and Nightcrawler is...eww. Great great job on this entry and good luck! You put a ton of work into this and in return you have a totally awesome entry! Good luck!
