I really like the colouring technique chosen for this, and the orange for gorebyss was the perfect choice! It stands out from the background, but it doesn't look awkward or forced, but instead looks natural
Only thing I would improve is the rock on the right. (with the plant) Once my eye reaches that point it gets stuck there, rather than my eye getting attracted back to gorebyss, or looking at other part of the painting. I think maybe if you brought the plant round to the front it would help attract the eye back to gorebyss, or place the plant nearer the top of the rock so your eye travels upwards to the archway, thus making your eye then travel back down gorebyss.
Overall the colouring is fantastic, as well as the proportions and technique!
