Eyyy yay I finally finished this one, only took a,, couple months lol. Normally I'd say you could've seen this sketch early over on my second account , but I've actually made so many doodles that I'm hecka backlogged over there, which is why I made a Vargas-specific blog (this is such old news by this point lol soz it took me forever owq), so you can see sketches early over there instead! That said, I think this might be the last Vargas piece, at least for a little while until I inevitably fall back with it lol ♪ I've had a lot of fun this time around
All my memories of making this fell out my ear as soon as I finished it lol, I mostly just remember getting like 3/4ths of the way through it, put down all the big shapes and lines and then completely lost motivation 'cause it was taking too long. Then like a month passed, I put on Imogen Heap's Aha! (which has "Gotcha!" as a lyric so it probably helped lol) and speed-vectored the rest of the way through! I do remember my initial inspiration for the pose actually - I started another song-inspired project around the same time and was trying to showcase how their relationship changed through how they were posed around each other. This one didn't make the final cut, but it was still finished first! Lol. Better one than none uwu
