Well this is definitely an interesting concept, it's not like they're siblings...yeah, it's kinda neat.
In case you're wondering I think you have definitely improved with your shading and stuff I might suggest making your dark parts more bold because that always adds a dramatic effect to drawings. Also it looks like they have some light shining through the bars? and highlights on their skin would add a lot to the picture. Just have fun with shading and try different techniques. ^^
