Too long no see!

Finally remembered that I hadn't uploaded all my old work from fall quarter, but I'm behind again now that winter quarter's only two weeks from being finished! Kinda sucks how college sucks so much time away from doing art as a hobby, but at least I'm learning to make up for it.

This piece was part an assignment where we had to make analog work, scan it, alter it digitally, and print it out in several cycles to get a final product. Due to all the high-quality scans, this is a much smaller version of the piece since I can't casually pop 100+ Mb images up here, much less expect them to load for other people. I'm not incredibly happy with it, but the collage layout and textures turned out much nicer than if I'd tried to replicate it all digitally. My professor hung one of the misprints with a color imbalance up in the print room, so... either he thinks it's a good example of why to check your ink feeds for clogs, or he actually likes the piece. Either way, I find it odd and unfamiliar.

I have, however, been in a zine publishing class this quarter, so there's MUCH more to come after this!
