My favorite poses from a pose practice I did. I tried to create stick figures with a dominant line of action and then add some basic anatomy to them.I was also inspired by this excellent video tutorial by "Draw with Jazza":Β www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3iOFYβ¦
Go check it out, its worth it!
Edit: I decided to redraw the roundhouse kick pose because it didn't look dynamic enough.

Yes, that process of doing a stickfigure first to capture the dynamic and than drawing some anatomy over it is indeed quite useful. I'm sure you'll benefit from applying it.
