She is so beautiful. You are very lucky to have the chance to work with such amazing people.
(The caption is wonderful as well.)

She is indeed... wings instead of arms...
If you send me your email address I'll add you to my mailing list so you know when the book comes out.

Your work is brave and true and beautiful.

Thank you so much for your kind feedback.

She is a beautiful spirit... I will send her your admiration. And I thank you for your kind comments.
I had the honor of spending 3 days with Dead Can Dance in your beautiful country. I only wish I would have had time to look up Mr. Saudek.

You are too kind. That sounds like the making of one crazy family picnic... I can tell by his photos that he is a lecherous mad man, bless his soul...
I don't know his brother's work but will look it up.
Again, thank you... you flatter me.

I don't think "crazy" is necessary... I believe there does need to be some form of agitation though. I recently heard some one say, "There can be no creative impulse in the absence of discontent." I think there is a certain amount of truth in that.

Great shot...
Since a long time I've had certain fascination towards people missing limbs, i think i was like that on a past life or something.
I feel bad at myself for having to photoshop someone to look like this.
Your pictures are absolutely breath-taking.

Thank you very much. Don't feel bad about using Photoshop to make pictures like this. I chose not to for this project. I'm not against photoshop, I just want people to understand tht that isn't what they are looking at. I take a lot of time and effort to create these photos in real time. I flew to chicago to photograph this girl. I don't want someone to just dismiss this as, "Oh, he photoshopped her arms off."

Thank you. I will indeed.
I started my first movie yesterday so I had to make a set that was "practical" in that it worked from many different angles. I tremendous amount of work but so gradifying. I'm really happy with the film so far.

my, she is gorgeous, truly sweet and beautiful, NOT CREEPY, UTTERLY BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL....It's the quirky, the odd, the "not so pretty" that makes life so full of awe and wonder....

...and she would hug you back. Next time you hug someone, try to notice how much about hugging doesn't involve your arms... it's something very interesting that I realized when I met and hugged her...

This is one of the most striking photos I have ever seen. Undoubtedly there would be people who would consider this photo freakish, but sheβs not a freak sheβs beautiful! I thinks its really amazing how you managed to handle such unusual subject matter with such grace. This photo does nothing to hide the fact that she has no arms, but it does not have any exploitative quality to it.

Wow, what a beautiful woman. I think the lack of shoulders is really striking - you don't miss the arms as much and your eye is drawn to her beautiful face as if she were a carved bust.
I'm rather awed by the thought of her eating a burger with her feet. That, my friend, is no easy task with no opposable thumb, and it's difficult enough then!
Just... wow.
