AaaAAwwww I'm really happy you think so!!!
uhmm, it's not anything specific designwise. Just crammed stuff I like to eat into it
I can explain what's innit and recipe's and stuff if you like?
anyways, from top left it's:
-gyoza (pork mince with grated ginger, garlic, fishsauce, soysauce, abit of salt). mix filling and put little amounts into the skins (bought finished) and panfry with a little oil until they've taken colour, then cover with water in the pan and boil/steam until water's evaporated.
-Onigiri: Boil rice with a bit of salt. Add a bit of sushi-vinegar. Spread a layer on a piece of clingfilm. put a dollop of filling (tin-tuna with gomae-dressing, mayo and salt/pepper in these ones). and wrap tightly into a ball (like making a snowball).
-heartshaped egg. Link to how-to can be seen here (it's easy): [link]
-spinach-salad: add frozen spinach, a bit of whitewine vinegar, sesame-oil, a bit of soysauce and some sesame seeds to a pan and heat a bit (you can just season to taste -this was just a spur-of-the-moment-inspiration-thingy).
-inari: skins bought finished inna can. boil rise (or use from the onigiri). blend with a bit of sushizu and put into the skins.
-takuan: bought finished.
-radish-mushroom: inspiration from Annathered.com 's blog. just cut a radish in shroom shape
-rice with ground black sesameseed/salt mixed in (just for looks).
-green soybeans.
- carrots cut in flower shapes (peel a carrot, then make 5 v-shaped incisions lengthwise evenly spaced around it. Then you can cut it in slices that are flowershaped). think these were parboiled, but you can also eat them raw. Make plenty and frost in single-layers with clingfilm in between -then you have plenty for future bentos
-parboiled broccoli
..............
If you want something explained more into details, just ask me

If you have a Hannam Chain nearby, you can actually buy like three of those for the same price as one of those fishies. It looks very cute tho :3
