This long, serpentine green dragon weaves in and out of magical floating books, portals to other worlds and the wild freedom of our imagination.

I was actually wondering when you would present this piece, as you drew it surely you should at least show how you see it should be done as to the best of your abilities. I think it might have been smarter to show it off after the contest rather than before as that way no other person did not get any preconceived notions of since you make it look lie this I must make it look similar routine; I do see similarities in this and other images colored by others. I like your take on this image though, as it is mystique bit also looks like it is taking place in the sky. Then their also is the the look of magical sparks as they pour out of the books themselves as the dragon goes through them and sparks like where that dragon will be going through next or has traveled already, very nicely done.

It's actually been done for a few months now. I kept forgetting to get it posted up here. I did want to wait until the contest was over, but I was coloring it at the same time as that. Just as I didn't want someone to see my colored version and assume that was how it "should" be colored, neither did I want to see other peoples' versions of it and inadvertently imitate them.
But still, I should've put it up earlier. I'm quite happy with how he turned out!
