Heya Peeps,I haven't been well and haven't made any art in a while, I have been suffering for years with Bipolar Type 2 disorder and since it has been raging havoc on my personal life recently I decided it was time to turn a Bipolar episode into some thing productive. The results is channelling my two most dominant personalities into one being, a Two Headed lady going by none other than the Bipolar Bombshell. A huge fan of Sailor Jerry I decided to make a piece I could commit to ink on my body to have some amount of both awareness and control over my mental status which almost feels like a totally separate entity at times. One head represents my extreme depression which seems to rely heavily on hitting the bottle for comfort, the other head is the manic clown who is often more loud, immature and impulsive.
I took the idea of adding "Alive" from the old PT Barnum Sideshows but also to boast that I am still Alive, despite dealing with what feels like two heads at once.
I will be adding more tattoo style flash in the near future so stay tuned.
