I like the tail. I used brush last time and it didn't have much effect. What is your pencil hardness?(that sounded kinky)

lol yes it did i used 3 pencils 2B,4B and an HB - maybe it more to do with the paper i used quite shiny smooth paper this time but i usually prefer my paper a bit coarser sorry i not up on all the names for types of paper lol

i've been drawing just on copy paper... so there is a big difference when switching paper?

yes there is indeed - get some sketching paper and you'll notice a difference - i do water colours as well and i couldnt believe the difference when i got a descent water colour pad of my son - my painting's stopped wrinkling for starters lol and i could blend the colours much better
