As I've stated, this will be a comedic approach. If you're alright with that, then I hope you like what I'll present.

With news full of storms and flooding, in case of nature this concept seems most appropriate for describing how one often can only observe the inevitable.
On the other hand, signals of distress can be something a person could send as signs of one's malaise in hope of someone caring enough to notice.
In any case, I like the way your pictures leave room for interpretations.
