I tend to keep a little sketchbook with me anywhere I go. I'll sketch in any given situation. Classes and meetings are particularly useful. I don't take notes; I usually am sketching others in the room on regular lined paper with a simple ballpoint pen. There are a lot of those that I'll probably end up posting.

The subject (his name is Kari) sat still long enough for me to really work the sketch. I very much like the way it turned out; I think I caught his likeness and character.
