Description
A giant lady that I did because the Okapis are quite underated in my opinion and most people doesn't even know about them... And no wonder, the okapis are quite rare and I was lucky that ZOO in my hometown have them. And maybe they shyness gave me a feeling to see a mystery in them. Not to mention that they're beautiful animals.

It is clear Im macro fan, so I decided to make ma own macro character. First of I wasnt quite sure what animal I want to choose. But after visiting zoo in town where I live, I pick okapi (aka: "forest giraffe"). In my opinion I think okapi are elegant animals and also as a kid I seen them a bit mysterious, because they live in african rainforests so they cant by so often like their related giraffes so okapi suit perfectly for personality like her. Speaking of personality: Even she is arogant, she do doesnt have tendency to rampage or purposely harm somebody when she is calm, only when you really piss her off. She is more like annoyed all time and dont say "please" or "thank you" when you do something for her. You can say Adamonde is quite a bitch... But there is reason for that.
As i write in the title: she is goddest. More specific a egyptian. And reason for why is she forgotten is in her story.
So there is:
Adamonde was worshiped by egyptian explorers who sailed to the Nile to the Central Africa rainforests to find springs of they holy river, where she serve as their guardian on their expeditions. As proof of their thanks they build temple for her in these jungles, what also serve as checkpoint for explorers. Because her temple was so far from central part of Egypt kingdom this place was visited once in a while. For these reasons when Roman empire take Egypt and expeditions to Nile springs stopped and Adamonde´s temple was abandoned. Not knowing what happened to Egypt and his gods, Adamonde fall asleep and turn herself to statue and stay in this form until somebody visit her place. By the time her temple was taken by nature and her existence. Milenia after, in 21st century, she was awoken by small group of treasure hunters.
