Outstanding work!  I love the texture details on the suit, the golden shine of the belt and that Bat logo, her pose.  Really cool!

Sadly I am not able to contribute anything technical.  I will say, however, that she is one of the best BGs I have ever seen.  I may us her as model (descriptive of course) in a Birds of Prey story I am working on.

Bat-tastic! I approve of this costume.  Well done.

Very nice render Mr B. Is this a suit you made or one that is available somewhere ?

Pretty much all models I use are availible somewhere. I just do the textures myself usually, unless I come across something I particulary like. I've started looking a bit into zbrush to make my own stuff lately, but I'm a newbie in that department still. Gonna take a lot of practice

You create some great work for a newbie
I'm reasonable new to the whole 3D thing too, and I agree with you, it takes a lot of practice.
Good luck with zBrush. never tried it but know its good. I'll stick with Carrara and hexagon for now

I like the outfit you used.  I just started using the same one for Batgirl.  I also like the texture you used for the belt and bat symbol.  I modified the suit texture so the bat symbol is part of the suit and splits down the zipper when opened.  I think I like your way better though for the closed option.  It was a lot of work for minimal results on my part.

The only thing I'm not a fan of is the hair.  I hope you keep looking for a solution so you can share your results with me.

I haven't got the hair right either so here's to hoping!  Overall grade: A-

Chest logos tend to be a challenge when you're a bit overly generous on the chest region. Texturing it would make it look rather weird when zipped up unfortunately. The hair I agree with. The pony tail was just a quick simple solution cause her head looks so small with no hair. I can probably make the terrymcg cosplay hair prop look ok with some work. Or just find some other hair prop and make a custom cutout in the neck.

I'll do a render of my chest logo closed and you can tell me what you think.  It does look a little non-cannon but I think it works well enough.  Not like she'll spend a lot of time with it closed anyway.

Yes, please let me know if you find a solution for the hair.  I've tried a few things without any real luck.  I even tried to retexture the TerryMcG hair but I suck and it looked worse. I've got a few hair pieces on my wish list at Daz that I haven't bought yet, that's pretty much where I am with it right now.

Bottom line, your Batgirl is pretty hot.  I really like what you did with her belt too.

Nice render, good suit choice.  I had similar problems with the hair when I did my version of Batgirl.  Since then I've got a little more familiar with Zbrush and now after seeing/reading this has got me thinking about using fibermesh to create a custom hair prop.  Will have a look into this sometime this week and if I get anything usable, will be happy to share it.
