Description They have given their sons to the military services. They have stoked the furnaces and hurried the factory wheels. They have made the planes and welded the tanks. Riveted the ships and rolled the shells. It takes twenty years or more of peace to make a man; it takes only twenty seconds of war to destroy him. Because War. War never changes.

En Dieu que nous avons confiance.

It's M1911 in your hand, correct?

Yes it's an authentic Remington Arms M1911. It's in brand new condition, I've only emptied about 30 rounds through it so far. I like it more than a Glock.

You should have gone through a war with that perfection of a gun: war never changes itself but it could change a pistol, just so, you know, it can look like a real gun. A mature gun. For a photograph just fine.
Or you can just apply some photoshoppium to it. That'll do too.

This is just damn near perfect. It reminds me of some of the newer war movies, like Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down. This photograph has a great and really simple message. The only problem is the man's clothing, which is good, but it's too good. I would like to see it a little bit more torn and less clean, because it would make it look more like this guy has been through the hellish field of battle. Still, very good concept and execution.

It's a self portrait, I'm the subject and the photographer for this one. Thank you for the compliment. However I spent to much money on this ensemble to mess it up haha. It took a whole month to save up for it, as well as many others like the suit of armor ect. But your right it would look a lot better.

So true...
It changes in some ways, such as the way it's fought, but it still devastates people on different levels.

Nice balanced, composition, btw. Sometimes, It's hard for me to find anything to really critique in your photos...sorry about that.
