I've got lazy with titles, dangit.This is a pic for an art trade I'm having with . Basically he asked me to draw Statyk ready to fight. I'm..not really sure if I managed to nail the thing but HERE YOU GO! Sorry for the wait man :c
With this pic I tried going with the painting style and...I had fun with it actually. I might try to use it more in the future but don't expect it to be the main thing. As usual, I'll switch between shading styles
Another thing is that originally this picture was going to have a spacey background (and a friend of mine helped me with it, you know who you are x3) but since it would've took too long I...decided to scrap it for this one
. I'm probably going to do it separately, I wanted to some landscapes anyway and this could be a nice opportunity for me :3This guy name's Yetshi, right now he's dressed as the bounty hunter Statyk and he's a character created by

Kudos on the tricky pose and perspectives! This immediately makes me think of a smash bros melee trophy for some reason (that would be a cool trophy to collect for sure xD ). Don't be afraid to try to smooth out some bits, like the pants for example. I get you're going for a painting style, but the lines and squiggles there look unfocused and jarring compared to the rest of the shading/lighting. Maybe try to smooth it out a bit with the water tool or marker tool next time to make it look a bit more focused. Awesome work :3

As for the pants, I guess you're right. I didn't want to overdo the smoothing so I left it as it was. Thank you for your input and I'm glad you like this pic
