Yeah, he does. I was influenced by Red Dead Redemption (awesome game!) a western comic by and many Clint Eastwood films for the look of the characters.

I'm a fan of Clint Eastwood westerns, and I like western Naruto story.

I've got both Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare and they're both great games, that is also interesting how you were inspired Mike, I should definitely check out these artists works.

yeah, I love Red Dead. and yeah, it's a different take on Naruto... a combination of two things I love, ninjas and spaghetti westerns, so I was intrigued.

Also, drew and wrote this cute NaruSaku doujin under her other account... don't know if you read it before. [link] if comment on it, be aware that she can't access that account no more.

and I'm a huge fan of 's work. I'm waiting for his "Wander" comic to come out. [link]

Also, I've started on a promo sketch of Sakura's dream from "With You"... I'm so ready to draw this. But first, I've got to upload new "Starring Challenge." pages. *sigh* why do I give myself so much to do?

I'm definitely going to take a look at both projects and I see that everyone has been bugging you about posting the next page of the Staring Challenge, but I know it's because of your work, you'll get it out when you have time.

Also, some one left me a review for Reflections that kinda irked me, he or she said this: "Not a bad story, but how come in these type of stories Naruto never thinks about or examines that the only reason Sakura is now with him is because Sasuke rejected her...again. I mean if he hadn't in the first chapter, does anyone believe that Sakura would have even thought of Naruto at all after that. I don't mind a Naruto/Sakura pairing, but it shouldn't just happen as easily as it has in this given the past relationship of the two."

Yeah, I kinda had some writers block on the next pages... I just figured out what to write last night, after reading your fan fics and a couple of others. (GREAT material )

As for the comment/review that person gave you... um... wow. What he said here kinda got me thinking if he’s been reading the actual manga at all or if he understands the relationship between the characters... “but how come in these type of stories Naruto never thinks about or examines that the only reason Sakura is now with him is because Sasuke rejected her...again. Okay, so lets say Sasuke said yes to Sakura’s advances and they start to date... here’s the thing, I don’t think Sakura would be happy with Sasuke because they have such different personalities. Sakura will want to go have fun and such where Sauce would rather stand in a corner and think about revenge. I could see those two go through their share of arguments, and Sakura starting to see that Sasuke isn’t the guy that she thought he was (because all he wants to do is kill itachi and whoever is responsible for the murder of his clan). I could see Sakura going to Naruto for advice, because Naruto is both Sauce and her friend. Naruto, who loves Sakura, would do anything to make her happy, even if it means that she wants to be with his rival. This is where Sakura will probably realize and see Naruto for who he is (if she hasn’t already)... and that he’s always been there for her and understands her. She’ll then began to develop feelings for Naruto because he makes her happy, despite the fact that she hits him but it’s only because Naruto is acting like a fool.

Of course, this is my opinion, but I’m sure that you agree with me on this.

Thanks for helping to cheer me up there Mike and I definitely have to agree with what you said, I could see a likely scenario happening like that, but for some reason I see that more as a high school type of thing.

Anyway, I've got a similar thing going on in Reflections and you saw that Sakura didn't rush to Naruto right away and loved him, it was a build up that happened until just this recent chapter where the both of them admitted their feelings and next chapter things will get a bit more saucy between them which will not be posted here because of the rules and glad to hear you got over your writers block with the help of one of my stories, which one though my I ask?

and LOL yeah, it does resemble a high school type thing, but that’s why it works, because remember, Naruto and Sakura are still Teenagers.

and Yes, that’s another thing I forgot to mention about your story, Sakura didn’t rush into falling in love with Naruto. and I’m looking forward to the next chapter... I normally read both versions, but the Toasy Warrior version is extra good. hehehe

As for the stories I read that you wrote, I read ‘Without you, With you, The best gift, and One Wish.’ I also read a couple of others, “Just Wanted to know why? and Just Wanted to know Why not?” Those two were really good as well.

I guess that person didn't see that in the story or they just don't care to read it all that much and you really do like Without You and With You don't you?

and yeah, adding the stubble is something that I do with the wandering types. and I wouldn't say that it puts your drawings to shame... it's just a different style of art. I really like your drawings of Naruto and the gang.

I'm going to do a few character sketches to get a feel for them (such as how Sakura, Naren and Kiba will look). and a Short doujin side story (8 pages tops)... Naruto and Sakura will enter a town to meet Naren and Kiba. Some creepy fat thug boss has a fancy for Sakura, tries something on her, Fox Bandit stops them, they realize who he is, gun fights, good guys win, Naren and Kiba show up. The end. Well, those are my anchor plot points.

I'll have some sketches loaded sometime next week. I don't have internet at home so it makes things difficult to load.

But in the mean time, I have to upload some new "Starring Challenge" pages! It's been a while, and everyone is asking for new pages.

I can't wait to see the sketches and the doujin! I'm sure they'll be wonderfully awesome as is customary for your work.

I myself am eagerly awaiting the next pages of "Staring Challenge" ^^ your expressions are just wonderful! where did you learn how to draw expressions so well?

I love the little story you're going with for the Doujin. It'll be like a little Omake...like one of those little five minute things after some of the episodes of Naruto that have absolutely nothing to do with what's going on in the show at that point and time. XD

Yeah, I've started on some designs... I really like how I did Sakura, and I hope you do to when I upload it.

I'm trying to get the next pages done, it's just finding the time to do so. As for expressions, I've been drawing for years... I guess the best advice I can give is too know how facial muscles work, and super deform them.

yeah, it's going to be a side story. (I'm probably going to call it "The Fox Bandit Gaiden." and OH!!! Very important... in the Fox Bandit Stories, does Naruto kill? Like, I know he would rather not, but if his life and the life of his loved ones on the line, would he? It's important for me to know for the fight scenes.
