I know it's been nearly a year since I did the portrait series featuring almost all of my OC's, but one thing that didn't sit well with me was that the portrait belonging to my flagship OC Adora-1 didn't turn out nearly as nice as many of the other portraits. I mean, it wasn't bad...but it was missing something and the kitbashing of two different hairstyles wasn't working for me; I didn't like how high her hairline was and that particular hairstyle wouldn't adjust to where I wanted it. So, I decided that it was time to gussy up her look a bit. I wanted to go back to a more cybered look, yet keep the sleek form-fitting chromed out look like some of the last drawings of her that I did years ago along with the short, messy pixie hairstyle that she used to have...which makes much more sense for a highly active action cyborg superheroine to have instead of a longer style, even if it's pulled back in a ponytail. While stylish and cool looking, I decided to ditch the jacket...she's a frikkin' cyborg, she doesn't get cold! And I added some other gadgets and mechanical devices to her body to really drive the cyborg aesthetic home. I even added her "Adora-1" emblazoned on her upper chest...not sure how I'm going to be able to include that in every render b/c I don't know how to get the text to conform to different angles and such.

So...here's the updated and revamped Adora-1, ready to kick some evil cyborg ass and defend the universe!!!
