On base in Germany there was an ice cream truck with booze toppings. Soldiers were running out to line up for it after work.

Stout should be served in a chilled glass and poured carefully at an angle to avoid excess head.Β

That's true for most beers. I don't want to waste time nose greasing it.
It's my only real issue with beer serves in Japan. They look like you're meant to shave with them.

I've never been to Japan, they really put that much foam in?Β

Depends. A live house or a devoted beer stand will be reasonable most of the time, a restaurant, particularly an izakaya can give like, an inch of foam.

That's not so egregious, I've seen that happen by accident in some restaurants, but usually the server profusely apologizesΒ

In German / Kriegian, there is only a one letter difference between the words for animal and beer. Tier and Bier. The word for animal cruelty is TierquΓ€lerei, which roughly translates to animal torturing. You can guess what they call anything but a straight, neat beer served in the proper glass over here...

Well put.
In fact in a Dark Heresy group I run, the group stumbled onto an ancient factory.
One of the first things they did was look for booze and old tech.
They are quite happy now.

Unusual quest rewards are fun.Β
I'm running ab "Immortals" game and the party was sent to an abandoned tech-temple, they found a series of coded sheets of info that once translated gave them coordinates to a titanium mine.Β
They are currently trying to figure out how to sell said info without getting murdered by mining companies in the process.Β

Indeed.
Weird rewards always throw players in a strange direction

VoiceofRob In reply to Lost-One-60 [2017-10-09 11:47:05 +0000 UTC]
Indeed, and also its a curious case because these coordinates are worth a fortune, but they would have to mine and process it first, now they CAN sell the info to a mining company, but most companies in this setting are either gonna give them a really lopsided deal or just murder them to cut them out of the profits.Β

In my case, yes they are worth more than gold.
The factory predates the Imperium by many years.
The issue now is that one of the players is engaged to a noble lady from the world.
So they have to keep Mechanicus in dark or else world will damaged permanently.Β
