I'm not really one of those people who is needlessly down on their own work, but just before submitting this I did kind of go "Now, hold on, Walt - This story is really fucking stupid, even for you." So, like, keep that in mind I guess.Emperors Day was mentioned in one of the CC books and I guess the concept facinated me, and on the positive side, it gave me an excuse to draw McClanahan again.
Lets see if we cant make a few more better pieces before the years done. Set the tone for the new year.

The thought of Raege bringing joy to children brings mixed feelings here. On one level its very cute and charming, on the other its a bit unnerving. The character of Raege is exactly how she stated it that she wants the kids to grow up and face the hard realities of life.
Will this make her bitter thinking that the kids are being built up to be brought down? Or will it remind her of how good things can be when you have hope for a better future?

The latter. She believes in reality, but she believes in hope also. She just has little for herself.

A character trait I can respect, often called "hopeful pessimism" where one hopes for others due to chance, but acknowledges that its usually the exception and the odds of that person being you is low.

I think you could've been more masculine on the armor. I don't know if the padded armor would shape around her body like that, but if it does, that kinda explains why no one else could fit!

In retrospect, yeah. All I will say is that this is Boones imagination, so the armor is probably a little sexier here than it actually is.

Lexus, it's dawww, and you know you'll get favourable responses from dawww. Secondly, everyone's feeling pretty positive about the new year (2011 was the monday of years).
Secondly, the thing people just don't GET about your writing is that by constructing something nice, you tear it all apart afterwards. You invest people, and then, if/when the story falls apart people GIVE A SHIT. Speehs mahreens got nothing on this.

Silly, funny, epic, and with a bit of Boone yuri-bait, the perfect combination!
Boone is such an evil mastermind to try to corrupt McClanahan into helping her to fulfill her fantasies(well, here is more of a fantasy!)!
"N-not anymore!" Ooooh looks like Boone won't sleep very well this one, but not for the usual reasons!
And nice little cameo of Tanith, although it's hard to believe there is still Nalwood available more than 200 years after Tanith destruction, that make this gun worth a little fortune!
