Just a quick sketch for today , done at a sketch group at work in the evening then splotched some quick photoshop over it
Surprisingly never really drawn many Aliens, even though they're super friggin' cool, so some of the details are a bit off but hey!.

Yeah, the neck is relatively short and should connect at about the center of the long head, with the read portion jutting well behind the back.
It's an interesting take on the design, though.

Great drawing, but yeah, i can relate to this post. There's a big anatomical divergence from the original design. I'm surprised most people didn't see it.

the only detail off in my opinion is the position of the head .
But the sketch itself is very good .
I liked the pose , and of course , the drolling is obligatory , he he .
