his name is avi love, he’s a paranormal researcher and investigative journalist who believes in Anything and Everything and wants to find out all the ways in which these things are possible. he loves to learn and loves to talk about the stuff he learns, but he talks very quietly and never raises his voice so sometimes it seems like he’s mumbling to himself but he’ll love it if you listen
chases ghosts, hunts for cryptids, has 0 impulse control and you WILL find him at 5am in the woods with caffeine jitters all “i got a text that bigfoot was here. I Need To Get This Story And You Can’t Stop Me”
he has tattoos on his right arm of every date and time where he’s 90% sure he was abducted by aliens
he’s very intelligent when he applies himself to things – he has a doctorate and is passionate about his work – but he doesn’t know things like, say, how to load a dishwasher (”it’s too many steps, i’ll just wash things myself, nbd”)
he doesn’t have a malicious bone in his body. even if you call him a little wacky. he’ll just find someone else to talk to, it’s chill
probably vapes. collects crystals and rocks and presses leaves and all that kind of stuff. some people give him shit b/c he’s technically a scientist but he believes in things like ghosts and tarot cards and magic and witchcraft but he just very earnestly, very honestly believes that they can all coexist
