Where: Kasteelpark Born, The Netherlands

This zoo is located around the ruins of a castle; we'd visited years and years before, but couldn't remember too much from it.

We definitely didn't remember there being this large group of rather cute and fun Raccoons They were without a doubt one of the highlights of our visit. We had lunch looking out over them, and it was the best - even if it was raining.

Species: Raccoon (Wasbeer)

Latin name: Procyon Lotor

Originates from North America.

Current status: Least Concern
