Description So this is an older idea that never got written.

Fall Out Boy as four dudes going around the Pokemon Nation. (defined as Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and the Orange Islands here) Respectively, they battle Gym Leaders, Trainers, and other miscellaneous schmoes, trump Pokemon Contests, be kickass with a Miltank BFF, and squirm around every trouble with the cutest Ditto possible.

Oh, and they're practically living gods too.
See, as part of the cataclysmic event that created their particular neck of the multiverse (please don't ask, it's ridiculous and by the story's logic we're not even supposed to really know about it) several ordinary people ended up having their souls with those of certain Pokemon (most prominently Legendary Pokemon).
Again, don't ask.

The concept operates mostly on the universe rules of the games, with character, place, and event elements from almost every form of the Pokemon mythos.

From left to right:
Pato Chiisaki of Celestic Town, former Sinnoh Champion. Went to a prestigious Trainer's School to train after being the Champ for two years. Very patient and in-tune with the emotions of Pokemon -- also slightly religious as a result. Has the powers of Palkia, therefore he can manipulate water and the places of objects/people in space. Preferred Pokemon in his roster: Whismur, sometimes Pikachu.
Pito Haraguro of Verdanturf Town, five-time Hoenn Grand Festival winner. Gave up his streak out of sympathy for a certain young brunette Trainer. Hotblooded and creative -- to the point of self-humiliation. Has the powers of Giratina, with two sides: an intimidating and powerful being he has control over, and a completely rage-filled flipside he doesn't have control over. Preferred Pokemon in his roster: Gallade.
Andi Harusato (gurgh that surname, but it's a pun) of Goldenrod City, Ranger Leader of...Goldenrod City. Usually leaves stuff to his second-in-command Jasmine anyway, so going around the country isn't a real big deal. Trustworthy and intelligent to the point where he made several advances in Ranger technology -- however, he's quite stingy with his wonderful toys. Has the powers of Dialga, meaning he can control metal and reverse/fast-forward time. Preferred Pokemon in his roster: His partner Miltank.
Joseph Uchikido of Valencia Island, son of Professor Felina Uchikido. His mom wants him to get out of the house...and take photographs of Pokemon of other regions so she can do research. Unusually attractive (then again, he's Felina's boy) and quite talented with photography -- but also quite airheaded. Has the powers of Cresselia, meaning he has all the "useless" powers the ability to control the speed of objects and the light in an area. Preferred Pokemon in his roster: Ditto, the cheeky thing.

...I must say also, that Miltank is not at its actual size in this picture. I had absolutely no reference for its height when I drew this :< The Pikachu is really that size, though, and the Ditto could be just mimicking being small if they're not really that small.
