I couldn't really think of anyone else to fit Andy but Fluttershy for some reason. I guess thinking about it now, Applejack with all her hard work and honesty would be a nice fit (also the pun hurr hurr), but the whole Texas thing doesn't gel. And then him being Fluttershy is just funny. He's just so butch in this picture...so butch.
