Harley is a stocky, 3 legged, 1 eared and half tailed male, with golden sunset eyes & a rusty colored body. After contact with mama bear, this speckled mess lost all feeling in his left backleg and close blinding in his left eye. Complications from a concussion left Ice healers with no other choice that to amputate while they still had time, and once the AGC had woken up, all of his major wounds had began to heal and were being tended too. This drama leg the male with a large scar along his rump, half his tail amputated, his ear in a shred, a scar from his ear to his eye and the famous nub that rests on his left leg leaving him- a tripod.

Around Strangers-

Earnest-
Harley when meeting new folks tries his very best to be as friendly, and tending as possible. Although, its never a guaranteed action, its always something on his mind when approaching someone new. Strangers within your own residence shall be no more! Or... He hopes. It can't be too bad can it?
Tactless-
Now in addition to Harley's almost proper - attempts, this guy is also not one for sensitivity or compassion. Whereas he tries when it comes to mind, most times than not he'll be blunt and awkward. The occasional "Are you okay?" will slip, but don't expect much of anything else.
Withdrawn-
To no avail, this one should be a given. Harley isn't much of a extrovert, and while he loves telling stories and motivating in a rather.. crude manner, around strangers you won't find him in the center of the conversation. If anything, he'll be the responder verses the commentator.

Once you get to know the guy, he's pretty upbeat and kind. Not the smartest, but has the right idea. If theres one thing he loves to do, its put forth advice based on personal experience... Which is just a fancy way of saying he loves to tell stories. Every day is a blessing to him, if it wasnt for Ice - and he makes the most of it with a smile and crude humor. Very - crude humor.
Brave-
Once you've dove into the horrors of what this guy has endured, things become a little easier to approach. Unless you're in the Medics retreat or a bear crosses our path, he's up for any task and will make sure to be the first to jump in.
Helpful-
For as handicapped as he is, with 3 legs and almost a 2/3 vision score in his left eye - he's rather helpful with dishing favors around and keeping himself busy. Need an errand run? He'll do it. Nursery short of their share? 1 Leg coming up! And most importantly - if you need a painfully long break from your torturous kids... He's up for the task as its not only scary.. but he actually tends to get along with cubs and older felines best.

If there was one word to describe Harley, it would be Stubborn. He is nothing but a set in stone old man, with views on how to do things, and where he wants to be. One of this most famous squabbles to be in is the "Im not sick" card. He could be vomiting, have a fever - and at times just unable to walk - but he would still rather die than to step foot in that Medicine den in free will.

Background
Harley growing up, was never alone. Between of an on flings between his owner and all of his options, his house-mate was hardly any better.. but for different reasons. He lived with a former stray, his owner since then taken him in and after awhile, his home become the hot spot for other rogues and street scavengers claiming to be a friend of Jax. Now, Jax was a mutt.. namely serval and bits and bobs of clouded leopard. So that being said he didnt take up as much space as one would expect - however his friends made up for it. Snow leopards and Tigers alike were always frolicking about. Some stayed for 1 night, others continued to come back during the winter seasons. Harley didnt mind the company, and although didnt enjoy some of the guests - many were okay and brought new scars with each visit.

Each visit until the Fall of 43 BC.

One by one the visits became less frequent and soon, news of murder was on the streets. Publicly, one of their friends had been great gossip and it only furthered the nervous energy. Jax had gotten to know this Jaguar fairly well - her name being Tea. And over the years, so had Harley. So naturally it had everyone involved a little shaken up. The only reasonable thing to do then, was to simple flee. Upon the mark of dusk, Harley and Jax set out while their owner was away drinking and their journey else where began. It wasn't until day two approached that the hunger had started to set in and lost eyes searched high and low.

In short, 2 small cats shouldnt be left alone to themselves after living a life of nothing but city and scavenging because what happened next changed everything. Unknown to the pair who'd be trying to stalk around for rabbits, stumbled into an enraged mama grizzly. And as one would imagine... It didnt go well. Harley was grasped by his back leg and swung into the nearest pine, swiftly losing consciousness - and during the haze Jax had passed away in a very gruesome manner. Things only got better once a large patrol consisting of a few cats he'd come to know as Othello, Zita, Gwen, Pluto and Gale. They fended the ursa off bravely and as quickly as they came, left with the more than lifeless body of the AGC.

Fast forward to the camp, while under his sleep spell, Ice healers Lamia and others helped patch him up- even to a point of an emergency amputation to his very crushed and dead leg. For now, he's on Medic arrest until further notice.

After what Mia did to his leg, and all he'd suffered through.. Harley has an immense fear of the Medicine den and anything having to do with Bears. The mere term "Mama Bear" sends him into a shaky mess, similar to a PTSD attack.

Losing so much in the city, and then even on his way back - losing Jax.. He'd hate to get too close to anyone. To be committed to anything again - like he was committed to getting him and Jax to safety scares him. He'll try to avoid it.
