I am sure you have gotten many interpretations of this: some that are quite similar I imagine, but I really like this piece so I'll tell you what I feel as well 
The title in relation to the photo makes me feel like there is an emotional separatness between the figure in the photo and another person, in adition to a physical separatness.
Compositionally, it is fantastic, great lines.

Personally, I get a feeling from this...I get a lonliness factor. Something thats there...but not...at the same time. Being somewhere, but nowhere all at once.
I like that this gives me a real ambiguous feeling...makes this an everyman, or woman for that matter...doesnt slap a label. The lighting is fantastic. I love this image.

I love this photo... the line between the framed picture on the wall and the head board (or whatever) seems to perfectly match/mirror the curve of the body on the bed. It's amazing. I love it... can't say it enough.

I definetly have to agree with a lot of people here in saying that this is one of your best pieces.
It feels though, as if I'm looking in on a very private moment. I actually thought it was a recreation of the popular idea of showing a couples feet at the end of the bed, rather than showing the bodies. It's actually kind of perfect with the picture in the corner. It feels as if you've boxed yourself in to think about life. Outside, is exactly that. Outside and far away. Maybe mixing the two ideas and saying that maybe the subject is missing someone special?
