YaaayAnother one about Ariel and her close-minded view on princesses.
Sure I share it a little, especially for the girls who don’t even marry or end up with princes…
but the other I will now after the Princess and the Frog reluctantly agree are Princesses

I always pictured that poor sweetheart traumatised.
She did stay with her oppressors. Sure she made some really wonderful steps of trying to break free and loosing her façade sometimes and showing us a wish to be free and a temper bubbling.

Actually fun fact Cinderella in the original fairy tale is a Duchess because her father was a lord and great friend to the king but it was beloved after her father died she became the duchess but her step mother told that title away from Cinderella, and on another note I love your artwork and I love this because it does point out alot of the none princesses

The origins of Cinderella is so hard to pinpoint. They are discussing fur slippers from the translation that the French translated that was mistranslated to glass from possibly Chinese. Then again there are stories from all continents that has this rags to riches theme that saying " the original Cinderella" is a very bold statement.

Cinderella was either a baroness or a merchant's daughter, depending on the version you read. In the movie, the step-mother was married to nobility to get all that land and into the ball, so technically Cinderella is a baroness.

If I did one of these, Ariel would complain about the Princesses that have little screen time or not the main single protagonist, implying that they are unimportant. Three most notable being Aurora, Belle and Jasmine. Maybe Jane, I dunno.
Aurora - She's the protagonist in her movie, but appears on screen for less than 20 minutes!
Belle - She shares her protagonist title with Beast (but she might not be included in this, but in Ariel's eyes, the princess has to be the only protagonist)
Jasmine - Wasn't a protagonist in any way whatsoever. Aladdin and Genie have that. She was a simple major side character in her first movie.
