Meet Oleg! It is a… erm… magical creature, made by some crazy scientists hundreds of years ago. These things originally were something as what we now perceive as androids and robots but organic Their purpose was to guard and assist the scientists who made them, but unfortunately the scientists had disappeared for some unknown reason and left these guys on their own. The things were controlled not only with words but with crystals, that were like an instruction book for the creatures. As these crystals are magnificent indestructible storage devices, the current mages are willing to pay a lot to get them on their hands. Unfortunately, the ancient art of making those was lost with the scientists, that had created them. As a result, these creatures became prey for adventurers (like Isof). Luckily, our friend Oleg was running after no ordinary adventure man, but Isof, that has a special interest in necromancy and was always fascinated by the science of death and life. After a couple of hours of running around Isof was knocked down by this creature. The thing did not harm the young man, only taking the crystal back. Shocked by the fact that he was left alive Isof went to investigate the unusual creature's behaviour (what a logical thing to do, huh?). He then discovered that the creature had some kind of a program, that told it to kill anyone, who tries to steal from the temple. Isof did not steal, as his only interest was the crystal on Oleg's head, thus the creature was not obliged to kill him. After about half a year in this desert Isof somehow managed to "tame" the creature by swapping the crystals and bonding himself to creature as his new master. From there Isof and Oleg became a horrible couple of adventurers that disgusted the whole adventure department of the 20th Edge Corporate.
