Description
Graham Kassis is managing to live a relatively droll life as a radio outpost operator in the middle of the vast Avashi Desert. When Sasha, a mysterious refugee from a war thousands of miles away, happens upon his isolated outpost, his world is quickly thrown through a loop. He soon finds himself on the run with Sasha from a strange military force led by a ruthlessly cruel captain, who's secrets are as shrouded as Sasha's. Despite Sasha's cantankerous nature, Graham forms a shaky partnership with her in the interest of survival. Facing the relentless forces of raiders, crime syndicates, the brutal onslaught of the desert, and a foreign occupation force in control of Graham's own country, Sasha and Graham must either outwit or outrun their enemies if they are to escape the Avashi alive.Not that there won't be plenty of LOLs too.

Woah, this picture is just amazing...Just the way you layed out everyone. Like the larger characters from the smaller characters, maybe size of importance in the story? we'll find out.

Each person has different and unique facial characteristics... You can differentiate more when you look at his mash up. I love how you made each person distinct in their own way. And the transition in the background form blue to orange...love it haha XD
btw I love the description. Nice job! really :'D And the logo looks fabulous too, like a poster for a animated movie! :3 can't wait for the comic

Thanks! It means a lot! I am a sucker for movie posters and character collages, so I just had to make my own. If I were to put ALL of the characters that have a somewhat important role in the story, I'd have to add another 10 or so. Some of these show up later, and some earlier but they impact the story a lot. But yes, you shall seeeee~
I lack in some aspects like detail, and consistency, but I think I make up for it in drawing unique characters. I'm glad you like them! Well, I'm glad you like the poster in general! Thanks so much!

Unique is everything, I find sometimes when I read a comic with characters who look really similar...I tend to get mixed up with who is who and forget who did what etc. But each of your characters looks so different from each other, it's almost impossible to get mixed up lol

Well, Spirelli is a very important comic for me, but it's not my ultimate one. :3 Not many people know about it yet, cause I never uploaded anything of it, since I want to plan this to the very detail, so it shall be epic.
But the characters are not very different. I love when they are very individual, so people may can identify with at least one of them.
Say, do you drew a layout for the comic first or will you immediately start drawing the main comic?

The way I plan Avashi out is to type out the main points of each chapter, and then writing a script for the chapter separating the text into panels and pages, so I can plan how to draw and pace each page. In terms of drawing it, I'm laying it out in pencil on paper first and then scanning it in and finishing it on the computer. Some people draw a simple storyboard before before the main comic, but I'm just going for it. More than you probably liked to know but there it is.

Oh my LORD, I'm glad you think so. The neurotic person I am here spent the better part of an hour trying to find a free font online I like. Sexy is a most appropriate description. Not weird at all.
