This is actually not a rip off. Button eyes are normally very cute, but Niel Gaiman ruined them for me. If I had never read Coraline or seen the movie, I would like the Lalaloopsy.
P.S. Coraline was a book before it was a movie. Neil Gaiman is the author.

I doubt this was a ripoff. The Other Mother was just using a doll making style that had been used for possibly centuries.
Still, as soon as I saw an ad for this on Youtube, I said to myself "Did anybody watch Coraline"?

This isn't a rip-off... Coraline is about sewing buttons in your eyes.. stealing you... etc. Whereas LalaLoopsy is just cute little ragdolls that come to life with magic and love... Ragdolls are supposed to have button eyes, and also, LalaLoopsys look nothing like the doll in Coraline.

I thought the way the doll was designed was a rip off of the way the other-mother made the coraline doll. with a head that is proportionally to big for the body of the doll.
