Description
This has been in the works since I posted those sketches of Vanyel.

Rather than any sort of accurate illustration of things in the books, i just wanted to draw the Van and Stef relaxing together. The result is pretty wildly anachronistic - neoclassical couch and chair, ultra-modern coffee table and bookshelf... and not to mention the boys wearing jeans and Stefen's oversized jersey and headphones. /grins shamelessly

It ended up being lots of fun to draw, though. Even if it did take a while since I was using references for absolutely everything in the room. It also gave me a chance to experiment wih my coloring as well - the three on the couch were colored digitally, as was the wall, but everything else done using my new Prismacolor pencils and blender.

Except for the book Vanyel's reading - that came toward the end, and since I was feeling supremely lazy I just pieced the book together digitally.
