I opened the one in sanctuary and it had a very good bomb upgrade I don't think i'd be trading it for a while though I think a shield would have been more useful

I find the golden chest to be kinda rubbish. I mean I can go and farm captain blades treasure room for days and get weapons and stuff that blows the golden chest out of the water. Hell I got most of my legendary weapons just from farming the treasure room.

I got a pretty sweet grenade mod that I used for a while, but I replaced it when I found a better one in the second DLC. Other than that, everything I got was worse than what I was already using or a gun type that I don't use at all.

I got a corrosive E-Tech plasma caster SMG from the chest at level 30, level 42 and I'm still using it. But that was after three golden keys, so generally not worth it :C
