Hidden beyond moist and moldy shadows, there live creatures that know no master.
Unseen they move as soon as the stillness of darkness falls, clad in inkish black and moonlit silver.
Late at night they gather once the last celestial beings have closed their thousand eyes and relent to
the sweet murmur of those called dream and sleep.
Nou sound is heard in their footsteps and no whisper is heard when they speak.
Their eyes cast the light of the moon and their words perish in the whims of the howling midnight wind.
They are those watching, fading with the first rays of early morning light.
Alas! Farewell for now until the sun sets yet again and the obscurity of night covers the world with their cope once more.
