So, we're having some sort of greek mythology themed week at my school right now, and we sort of ended up talking about Sappho. Sappho is a must-know for people who take latin or greek classes, and if you haven't read any of her poems/haven't even heard of her, y'all should go for a google search right this instant. (Especially if you are a queer female, but let's put that aside.) Sappho is great. Period.
This piece is vaguely inspired by antique greek art, as you can see, and it was an experiment in something new. Guess I tried. Sorry for my crappy handwriting. (It says Σαπφώ by the way, which is just her name in greek letters. In case you can't read greek. Don't worry, I can't read it either.)
