Finally, someone who doesn't draw her gorgeous! I mean, Katniss is food deprived and is not suppose to be amazingly beautiful. Yes, she could be a bit pretty, but not drop-dead gorgeous as everyone draws here. Well, that's just what I think

I agree! This also happens when people draw Hermione from Harry Potter. Not all fictional women have to be drawn as if they are models.

Yes, but in the books she is described to have bushy hair, large front teeth and thick eyebrows, but in many of the pieces i have seen she is like some goddess.

I just read over my comment and realized it made no sense whatsoever, lol.
I just mean it as Hermione had a good upbringing and was fed well and did not suffer as much as Katniss.

This is the perfect Katniss, in my eyes. The way that she's scowling (even though nothing may have happened to her) and she's not extremely girly, I'd say you did very well. (:

I really like your style! That is exactly how I think Katniss would if you started to poke her with a stick repeatedly! Just one thing. She looks a little too masculine for me(but thats just my opinion). Just the shape of her face and lack of femine features, such as girly lips, seem to give her that boyish look.

Yeah, I agree she looks a little boyish here. Partly it's because I imagined her as not the most feminine of people, and partly because I'm really bad at drawing girls
