No lie, this is my first attempt to paint digitally . AND I NAILED IT!!I'm so happy
I've been drawing on my tablet for 4 hours and god it's so great to have your ideas flow freely without the art block
I wanted to practice doing a background so bad so here's the result
It was just a tree then I just kept going and The little girl looks so cute The skin was a pain to paint; I was so used to soft shading with outlines ;_;
Overall I wanted it to look breezy and lighthearted. This is new to me but I think I'll practice painting more . Please comment and fave~!!

This is really cute. I know you did this digitally, but the trunk shouldn't be too bright you know? You can add darker lines closer to each other to make it look realistic. The shading is really great and the clouds should be a bit lighter, just so it won't look like its gonna rain on top of her, because the cumulonimbus clouds (thunderclouds) look like they're gonna form. Where the branches are at the tree, that should be a bit darker and around the leaves too so it would look like there's space and you can blend the branches and leaves together. It's a great start. Don't do a lot though, ok? The girls hair indicates that there's a breeze so you can draw a few faint, blurry white lines so the breeze is blowing. It is really cute. Love it so much!!

First, thank you so much for the critique . I am so glad to have receive great advice on how I can improve the piece . Much appreciated; I'll remember those things . Do they really look like nimbus clouds ? Did I overshade ? Too bad for the tree since the whole tree itself is in one layer ;_; My mistake for not putting them individually

The fluffy part of the clouds is fine, just the shading of the clouds should be a bit lighter. Make the gray a bit lighter on the clouds. And that's totally fine for the tree. You are definitely welcome!!
