Description I read one of my favourite books a few days ago and remembered how much I loved the series when I was younger: Memorias de Idhún ( [link] )

Yandrak was the last of his kind and Jack, one of the protagonists, carried its soul and during their adventures Jack learned how to transform into Yandrak.
Yandrak is described as a pure golden dragon with green eyes.

The original drawing looks so much better than the scanned version. -.- I also used some golden pastel crayons, so it has a nice golden shimmer and glimmer when you hold it into the sunlight.

Oh, and that's a drawing of Yandrak I did 4 years ago: [link]
Yes, you are allowed to laugh ... I can't believe how much I improved my drawing skills!

I'll draw more of these dragon characters, today I started with Saphira (C. Paolini, Eragon) and Smaug (J. R. R. Tolkien, The Hobbit)

I used:
- Brunnen sketch paper (10,5 cm x 14,8 cm; 110 g/m²)
- Faber Castell pencils
- Faber Castell Polychromos (coloured pencils)
- Faber Castell Pastels
- Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pens (markers)
- Bernhard Faber 'Van Dyke' watercolour pencils
